Big Box retailer appliance shortage continues

Consumers in need of appliances have been out of luck at big box stores since the Covid-19 pandemic started earlier this year. With factory shutdowns, parts shortages, and high demand, standalone freezers have been especially hard to find because not many were being made to start with. In a recent interview with ABC, frustrated consumer Tommy Conougher says, "Even when the big box stores have their specials, they don't have them in stock."
