My washer and dryer were suppose to be delivered today but obviously did not happen. They did not give me any 30min notice or any notice that they were coming. The only thing I got was from the tracker app. I checked the app it said arrived, went to go to my window to check. I saw the truck but no one was at my door or anyone in the truck. I was home and there WERE NO KNOCK. Moment later I received a call, I answered but no answer on the other line. I called back no answer. Got an email stating they missed me!? WTH. Called the customer service and they said they knock and attempted to call me. When I did not hear or received anything. I was their last order to deliver too so they probably did a BS job.

I followed the tracking for my delivery 3/22/2023. Everything was great. Got a call and said would be here with my delivery in 30 minutes. Right on time and called again when they arrived. I went up to meet them with my front loader and wanted to bring and unpack and install myself . I’m here on a ranch and the driveway is 600 feet from the house. Those guys were great and I ask for there names…Aris , Jason and Marigure . Thank For the A+++ Delivery

Home Depot assured me their 3rd party would deliver appliances to my address despite my driveway being longer than normal and the appliances needing to go up stairs. When they arrived originally they would not do anything aside from leaving them along the road, I talked them into loading into my pickup truck and driving them next to the house. Once there they made up excuses why they could not take the appliances inside, spoke in spanish to each other about how they wanted to go get food assuming I could not understand them. I called Home Depot, they called the 3rd party delivery company, they gave me completely different excuses why they could not do it, but offered to send people back out to move them weeks later, which made zero sense why their excuses were not going to be relevant in a couple weeks compared to now. I ended up having to move an oven/range, dish washer and refrigerator up stairs with a friend. I would not recommend buying appliances from Home Depot simply because their 3rd party delivery service is not accountable to you the customer at all.

Appliance installer showed up on time. I hate to say this, but the installer smelled SO BAD I thought I would be sick. He told me I’d have to hire a handyman to install the water hose mechanism because the water valve was too tight for him to close. He said he tried and he got sprayed with water. I had stepped out to check my dog so I didn’t see it. Then he left in a rush. I feel he just didn’t want to bother with the hose and valves. I got up next morning, looked at the manual and hooked it up myself. I’m old, I’m little and have never done any kind of appliance repair. There’s no way he actually tried to complete the install.

We purchased a stove and it was delivered on January 2022. The delivery person refused to move the old stove and install the new stove . He just left it in the kitchen . We purchased the parts that needed to be installed along with the stove. He was rude and disrespectful. He does not know how to deal with us elderly adults. I called and the customer service person was very dry and insensitive. I will not go back to Home Depot.

First delivery did not happen, second one was a very damaged stove and had to be returned, and today the driver said the driveway was too steep…even though others have come up our driveway, and did not call us at all to discuss it. Now we are waiting for 72 hours for a contact about this problem. 6 weeks and counting without a working oven and one bad burner on a four burner stove….

Horrible experience. Purchased a dishwasher to be delivered and installed. It was delivered but the driver lied and said someone from Home Depot would be out to install it. Long story short, someone from this delivery company came back to our residence (not Home Depot) and stated that he would do the install himself. He ended up leaving because he said the install was too difficult and could not help. My husband had to do it himself. I will never buy any appliance through Home Depot that needs to be installed again. You have been warned!

The worst service I’ve ever dealt with. Home Depot was supposed to deliver my dishwasher, but after the first delivery they said a part was missing. Even though we ordered the parts. On the second delivery they said we needed longer hoses and the first delivery didn’t note it. Now the third delivery came and could not be delivered because again they didn’t have the hoses. We’ve been waiting over a month for this order. I’m never ever going to Home Depot ever again.

After multiple previous issues... still don't have all of our products after truck finally actually showing up today with our dishwasher 'missing' from their truck. A never-ending nightmare! Today's delivery guys though were professional and cordial, I will give 'em that.

Ordered a new dishwasher and paid for installation. Original delivery/install was Jan 24. When they showed up, was told a plumber needed to install new water line. Plumber would call within 72 hours to schedule. Dishwasher would be left in garage…turns out it’s damaged, so they had to take it with them. No call from plumber, but new dishwasher was delivered 2/4. No install, these guys just deliver. Call HD, was told plumber would call in 72 hours to put in water line, then installation would be scheduled. 2/10 at 5:30pm, plumber calls and says they will be here between 10-2 on 2/11. I also call HD at this time to schedule install. I’m told first available is 2/17. No plumber by 2pm, I call and am told that it’ll be 3:30-4 maybe…I cannot wait any longer, so I’m told to call back Monday (2/13). Call 2/13, am told that I’d be better off canceling install, paying someone local to do it. Now installation date is 2/20! I ask why it shows in the notes 2/17…they gave away my time slot. It will now be over 4 weeks from original delivery, and the second dishwasher has been sitting in my garage for 2 weeks. Why offer a service if you cannot deliver on commitments. I tried just cancelling entire order, was told since the dishwasher was delivered and signed off for 48hours, I cannot. So now, once it’s installed, even if it doesn’t work I’m SOL because it was delivered 14 days before install. Whole appliance is a joke.

I purchased a washer and dryer on 1/30/2023, The Third party company delivering the products should be put out of business. The Dryer was damaged, and i refused to take it, I called the number that was given me from HD, I got the Rep on the phone and explained that there was a lot of damage to the dryer?. I was told to hold onto the dryer and (Samsung will send out another dryer).Well They never sent the replacement and I Had to purchase another unit. I spent over 7 Hours at Home depot trying to get this figured out and as of 1/11/2023 i still didn't get the new Dryer. I had a scheduled pick up of the damaged unit on 1/11/2023 and around 4:30 pm i drove to HD to find out why the unit wasn't picked up. I was told sorry its out of their Hands. Here is the Kicker the new dryer is to be delivered on 1/16/2023 and The damaged one is going to be picked up on 1/17/2023 Talk about a waste of time and resources I was told that is because there are two different work orders and i could not convince the Rep to make it on the same day. First of all I will Not Buy Anything ever again with Samsung Name on it.

We purchased a Maytag washer from Home Depot. This was the second Maytag washer we purchased from Home Depot. The first one broke and was under warranty, they could not get the parts to repair the washer the washer so they agreed to replace it. The new and current washer broke within 3 m0nths. They replaced the electronic mother board to fix it. 2 months later the unit brakes again and they have to replace the units transmission. I wanted the washer replaced. Maytag refuses to replace it and wants to repair it again. Home depot refuses to take any responsibly and states it's Maytag's problem. It has become my problem. I am over 80 years old and for months have had to go to laundromats to wash my clothes. Both Home Depot and Maytag should be ashamed of themselves. They take no responsibility. Do not buy a Maytag, they are garbage. Do not buy an appliance from Home Depot, they don't care about their customers

Ordered dishwasher, wife was home and saw delivery/install man drive and park outside our home and was waiting for him to come to the door with baby. He then proceeded to "sneak up" quickly to the home and leave a "sorry we missed you" note, never knock on the door or ring the doorbell, get back in the truck and leave. Last delivery on a Friday, so I assume he just didn't want to work and wanted to go home early and beat traffic?

I had so much trouble with a recent purchase of a Samsung washer/dryer pair from Home Depot. From finding out that there is such a thing as a "stacking kit" which is "required" for stackable units. No where on the product page or the shopping cart or the order step does it mention anything about this. It mentions everything else under the sun (i.e. washer hoses, dryer vent semi-rigid hose, gas line installation kit, etc. After more issues with Samsung itself trying to get a stacking unit quickly and not 10 day wait... dealing with reluctance in installing due to non-standard gas supply... cancellation approvals... on and on.. I finally get a schedule to have the washer/dryer picked up and I was so ready for the appliances to be gone! The day comes and I'm 1 stop away according to the tracker information. Then "unable to attempt delivery" shows up. What???? I call into Home Depot and I wait 30 minutes while they try to contact the delivery company. Ultimately, that company doesn't know what happened either. They will investigate why an attempt was never made - not a failed attempt but the driver decided to chill that day apparently. I'm forced to "wait" again for another attempt while questioning how anyone is going to guarantee this from happening again. It's almost a month since I purchase these and it's getting really old and tiresome. Home Depot really needs to reconsider the outsource delivery company.

Originally ordered Samsung washer and dryer, they were delivered Nov 6, 2022. The were never checked by installers that they worked. Washer didn't work. Sent that pair back after a hassle with Samsung and ordered LG. Received them on Nov 28,2022. The dryer clunks when turned on, LG going to replace. We tell Home Depot we are not available before 10am due to getting kids to school, last week they show up at 930 with no call or warning, no one is home so we have to reschedule. Now today January 18, 2023. No call to say what time they were coming, we tell Home Depot again that we can't be there before 10. Delivery person calls at 9 to tell me they will be there in 10 min. I told them no one will be there till 10. Now the delivery company just calls to say someone has to be there by 1010 or we have to reschedule. It is bullcrap that they do not take in account the customers availability when delivering. Will never order from here again.

I looked out window and saw this guy take my washing machine off truck and bang it around trying to get it on the dolly,Probably because he was the only guy dealing with getting washer ready,while the other driver was unhooking the old washer. they scratched the stand which the washer sits on pulling it out. While they were trying to push the dryer in position and hung it up each guy was on their cells phones taking to other drivers.

Delivery on 01-17-23 approx 8:55 AM. Delivery persons did NOT allow me full examination of appliance to insure working Order. I paid for Delivery and Haul away Old Appliance with SET UP (Extra Charges ). They Left the Large BOX and packing in my Yard next to steps. I refused to sign until I could examine and insure appliance was in working Order. Delivery people were in obvious hurry to finish and stated to me"We Like to hurry up and Get done" UNACCEPTABLE and Not complete Delivery or Haul away. Before I could address issues with Appliance set Up- Electric Range as I was still examining Delivery persons drove away without my Signing Delivery acceptance. I will NEVER shop Home Depot again as a result of this experience. I cannot give a Lower rating than a 1* BEWARE of Home Depot Delivery persons.

Scheduled for an appliance package to be delivered January 10. Waited the four hours only to find out the delivery team deemed our drive unusable. They will send a "smaller truck" at a later date. We often have services which involve huge service trucks, propane trucks and others with no issues. So next delivery was to be today, January 14. Delivery truck pulls up to the house, and with no call 30 minutes ahead, as promised. Two people come in to the house and walk through assessing the best door to bring the delivery through and appear to be preparing to unload the order. After asking us to salt the dry sidewalks needlessly, we consented and as we started to throw salt down to appease them, they drove away. Not a word of warning or attempt to make other arrangements. We called the 800 number to offer to move the appliances in ourselves if they would simply drop them at the closest point to our door, to which they replied they would leave the appliances at the end of our 300 foot hill drive next to a busy road. Obviously, that was no solution. The subcontractors the Home Depot uses are exceedingly low quality and beyond unprofessional. Our only recourse was to contact a local store manager who offered to "escalate" the matter and said he would be reaching back out to us. Hours later, no word so we call only to find out the manager we had contacted isn't in the store. Standing in manager, "Melissa" says we have to wait until there are staff to address this matter on Monday, Janaury 16. We will likely move on to another retailer, given the learning experience this has been. BUYER BEWARE.

I was not able to be here when the delivery was made. My 18 year old son was here. Home Depot delivered a refrigerator, and they must have hot every wall we had and they scratched the floor. There were wood chips from door frames and columns everywhere. They did not take ANY of the wrap or tape off of the refrigerator. It took 30 minutes to get it unwrapped. I was very disappointed.

Delivery wise, so far, so good. Installation however... I have a large microwave sitting in my living room floor and a dishwasher uninstalled. The crews who delivered and installed are never equipped with the tools they need. The washer and dryer installers had no drill and asked if I did. I said no, so they gave me the last screw and told me to put it in when I do. There are a multitude of holes in the wall from one installer trying to find a stud for the microwave. He also needed to drill make a hole in the top cabinet but only had a regular drill and pair of pliers. He basically chiseled away wood. They couldn't get it, so they left. The holes put in the cabinet make me wonder if it will be able to sustain the microwave now. The metal rack they attached to the wall that helps support it is not screwed in at the top--only two screws in that thing. When they were trying to get the screws in the top, the microwave was tilted. I'm pretty sure when someone does show up to finish the install, it will fall and destroy my new flat stove top. I'm also sure if it does, Home Depot will say I need to deal with the third party they hired but they would have to actually give me the name.

We just purchased several thousands of dollars in product from Home Depot over 2 months. Items have been delayed, not delivered, damaged, then pick ups for returns were non existent. My husband and I have spent over 40 hours on the phone with customer service and with online chat over the past few weeks. You would have thought we learned our lesson. We just bought a new dishwasher that was supposed to be delivered today. Just spent 3 hours ON HOLD only for the customer service rep and logistic company both tell me they don’t have the unit available and have no idea when it will be available to be delivered. I have no idea when my dishwasher will get here.

Bought kitchen appliances that were delivered on 12/17/22. I payed for install and takeaway of old appliances. What a waste of time and money.... On day of delivery the delivery guys were unable to install the dishwasher and our stove was damaged. We were assured the issues were being resolved and were told someone would contact us on both issues. Nobody contacted us so after 2 more phone calls and an hour of my time wasted we were promised someone would be here today to install the dishwasher. A team of delivery guys showed up at 8am with no idea they were supposed to install a dishwasher... they left and assured us an installer would be here by noon. Another no show.... my wife wasted another hour on the phone with home depot customer service to no avail... she was hung up on by a manager who never called back. My advice would be to go to a reputable appliance dealer and skip the crappy box store that Home Depot has become. One star would be generous....

JUST HOW THE FVCK WOULD THAT WORK. 4. SO AFTER HAVING TO WAIT A WEEK WITHOUT A FRDIGE FOR A DELIVERY THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN - THE REORDER OF A REPLACEMENT MEANS WAITING ANOTHER F’ING WEEK! Home Depot was supposed to deliver a dishwasher and new stove today, never called is I had to call 3 times to verify between 9 and 130, they assured me it was coming. Old dishwasher and stove had been removed. They then tell me any the end of the day that our delivery was never routed? The best they can do is deliver on January 5th ! Our date was Dec 28th! He then said after an hour and a half on the phone that Dec 31st was the best he could do, New Year’s Eve , the day of our giant family party! Unacceptable! Now I have no dishwasher or stove and have company of 40 coming! Terrible service. I may never go back

It was apparent from the start that the guys whom delivered our new GE dryer had no idea of what he was doing. Instead of installing fittings on the dryer and gas supply pipe, he assembled the flex line and fittings together and then attached them to the pipe and dryer. Of course when he installed the fitting and flex line assembly, the flex like became all twisted up. The results was the worse install I have ever seen! We will never buy appliances from Home Depot again!

Bought an over-the-range microwave with installation included. Day came and unit showed up as scheduled but installers didn't know what they were doing. I've had 3 other microwaves in the same spot over the last 32 years that went in with no problem. They were fixing to leave when I loo9ked at the install and noticed it was cockeyed, not on the wall frame, and just hanging from the cabinet above. I actually was able to pull it away from the wall. The installer said that was the best he could do and someone else would have to do it. I got on the phone with Home Depot and they said they couldn't get anyone there for two days. That day came and I was 13th in line ( by the texts I received ). Why was I not first in line ? Then watching the texts and seeing that we were down to being next on the list at 3:30 in the afternoon, I get a text saying Unable To Attempt. THEN, I get a text message saying that we will be rescheduled due to weather. It's 45 degrees and no rain here. Now we are supposedly being rescheduled again - probably as the last one of the day. I just hope my microwave doesn't crash down on top of my stove or I will pull them both out and set up a booth at the front door of the Home Depot to tell anybody NOT to purchase appliances here. You can't give a 0 star rating or I would. All we get when calling now is a big runaround and still don't have a reschedule. $ 120 for installation and you get this kind of service. This is what buying cheap at a BIG BO)X retailer gets you. Pay the extra at a local place that includes delivery. I will do from now on because this has been a disaster.

So, after planning to be available for our washer delivery and planning it to be delivered a few days before Christmas, as it is a well deserved gift for my mom, Home Depot became Grinch. I received the text stating they were two stops away, whatever this means in real time only to be texted 30 mins later that due to inclement weather they will not deliver. Fine, only that the warehouse, according to the customer support person, is located 34 mins from the delivery address and no inclement weather was/is due until 12 am. I checked the weather within 100 mile radius and all is fine 45 degree weather and light mist. I spoke with my brother who lives in Southaven Ms, the location of the warehouse and he advised all was fine to travel as a normal misty/rainy day. Now, who is fooling who here? I suspect the delivery persons and their supervisor wanted a short day and hope tomorrow and Saturday will produce inclement weather. I do believe some of the deliveries were forged ahead as those delivery persons felt an obligation to deliver before Christmas. It is 3 hours post their cancellation to deliver to me and still we have no inclement weather.

Had to take a day off of work to wait for my washer delivery. I was next in line & they canceled my delivery because of snow. We have no snow & it isn’t even supposed to snow for another 24 hours. It was 515 and the delivery guys just wanted to go home. When customer service tried to get a hold of the delivery guys, they hung up on her for an hour and a half.

delivery of a clothes dryer was scheduled for Dec 20, the day before I received an email telling me the delivery date was pushed back to the 21th (with a 24 hour window) with no explanation. I moved my schedule so I could be home for the 21st, along with my husband who was working from home. I was in my yard and my husband was inside, our dog was in the pen next to the driveway. When I checked my phone I saw a 'Sorry we missed you' email and immediately contacted their customer service. I was told 'the delivery driver was at your home and tried calling you but someone told them they had the wrong number and not to call again'. When I asked what number they called- it was not my contact number. I told the rep that no delivery truck was here as we were all home and in hearing range. If a truck had actually been here it would have been obvious from the open door, cars parked in the driveway, dog and person outside that people are home. And perhaps being told 'you have the wrong number, dont call again' might have clued the genius that he was calling the WRONG NUMBER. Instead, he simply doesnt deliver my dryer and reschedules so that the next time they come out they can try to contact me at the wrong number again??? Now I get to take a THIRD day off from work to wait around in hopes that I receive the dryer that I ordered and paid for. I can only hope that the next driver will at least come to my actual home rather than simply telling their dispatcher that they did. Incompetent, lazy ,dishonest personnel. About hour later I received an email “sorry we missed you but I had never left home. I immediately called and was told the next available delivery was Dec. 23. I called and was escalated to “resolution” and supervisors who merely said they were working on it and would let me know in 24-48 hours. Despite telling them I had out of town guests coming in for holiday, they made no real effort to fix their mistake. So I cleared the paths from the front door to my kitchen per Home Depot's online instructions. On the day of 12/07/2022 delivery, the contractors dropped off all of my appliances in the garage. I asked them several times why NOT taking them to my kitchen, which is ONLY ~30 ft. away from the garage on same 1st floor!!! They insisted they can NOT do that b/c of Home Depot dropped-off policies, bringing into kitchen requiring them more times measuring the boxes, steps, etc.. Nonsense excuses! I literally paid them cash 10 mins prior to move my old refrigerator and oven from the kitchen to garage. Then they left!!! My family including my Dad who's 77 years old and my wife whose weight ~100 lbs had no choice but moving the new dishwasher and oven ourselves. But no way we wanna break our backs w the new ~310 lbs refrigerator. I called Home Depot customer service, explaining/complaining/asking Kevin who was exceptionally friendly/sympathetic. The outcomes: 1. Home Depot policies do NOT state dropping off appliances at curbside or garage 2. These bad contractors were late on their deliveries on that day. They lied and I was their unfortunate victim of bad plannings 3. Kevin talked to the delivery manager several times. They somewhat righted the wrong by re-scheduling new delivery (3 days after the nightmare as earlier and after several negotiations), bringing the new refrigerator from the garage to kitchen 4. The new crew did awesome job, they need more of these good folks Home Depot: I've been your loyal customer for 15 years. Giving one star because of the mess the Strongsville Home Depot installation team is giving us. We ordered a dishwasher in June after moving into our new home and they came in July to install. My dad had made sure everything was ready for them and they installed just fine. They neglected to tell us however that the frame was completely bent on the front side of the dishwasher so when we started having issues a few months later and a tech came out he found that concern amongst another one. They put the cover over the frame and couldn't even put the screw all the way in so just placed it in there gently. I was the only one home when they installed and didn't really know what to look for so assumed it was fine. After dealing with the dishwasher company, repair company and Home Depot we finally got approved for a new dishwasher a month later. My husband went into Home Depot and spoke with a store manager who took care of everything for us and set up the new delivery/install date. The install team called my husband and said they were 40 minutes out but showed up within 10 minutes. They came in, examined under our sink and said they couldn't install because the shut off valve wasn't correct. My husband explained that the original dishwasher was installed just fine and even showed them the shut off valve after we redid things for them the first time with my father. They continued to say they couldn't install and told him to call a plumber first. They left our new dishwasher in the dining room and didn't even take the broken one. I am so tired of the installation issues with Home Depot and their lack of consideration for customers. We have been patiently waiting and doing everything on our end to remedy the situation but can't get any help from the install team. I am VERY hesitant to ever buy an appliance from Home Depot in the future just because of their installation issues. They should have never installed the bent frame dishwasher originally let alone cover it up. Use extreme caution and document everything if you order from here because they clearly don't care who they hire for installation. This has been an absolute horrible experience!! I ordered a refrigerator on 8/29/2022 from Home Depot. The rep charged me for installation of three glass panels as part of my order. Before placing the order, I inquired about the annual Labor Day sale and the rep informed me that should the price decrease, a credit would be issued. I was ok with that so I placed the order. Two days later, I received a 15% new home credit certificate in the mail so I returned to the store for the adjustment. The rep said if it was applied, we would have to cancel the order and repurchase the appliance. I eventually spoke with management who notated my order to give the discount after delivery. On 9/29/22, the refrigerator arrived at my new home. I purchased a counter depth refrigerator with dimensions of 26” depth, 34” wide and 72” height. To assure the refrigerator would fit through the stairwell, I removed the railings from the wall which made the width of entrance 42”. My stairwell ceiling height of the first of the first 3 stairs was 85” . These clowns damaged my hardwood floors on each step, the walls and the ceiling. Aside from that, my refrigerator was scratched on the side. I didn’t see the damage until they installed the refrigerator on the second floor. They refused to install the panels. While I was on the phone with Home Depot, the installers left. After the call about the refusal to install the panels, I noticed all the damage in my stairwell. I have been working with Home Depot management to get resolution on the damage to my new home. Home Depot submitted a claim through their third party claim administrator, Sedgwick. After 10 days of no contact, Sedgwick is referring me to the installer they hired. I’ve had no resolution to date. I paid Home Depot for the appliance and installation. I didn’t hire the installer. In fact, I had no knowledge the installation would be done by a third party. My house is a wreck and I’ll never shop at Home Depot again as I don’t believe Home Depot has lived up to their responsibility. I wish I had seen these reviews prior to my purchase. Future customers, take notice and believe what you read in the reviews posted.

We purchased a fridge, we measured the fridge and all doorways that it would need to fit through for delivery. The fridge had a depth of 28 7/8” and our narrowest doorway was 29”. It would have been close, but possible. It’s 3pm, there were 9 deliveries before ours, according to their tracker, the delivery driver gets here, pulls out measuring tape and measures all the doors. When he gets to the doorway that measures 29” he tell us he can’t deliver the fridge because it won’t fit. He measured the fridge in the truck (still wrapped btw) and insisted it wouldn’t fit, didn’t even bother to try. Also had a filthy mouth and smelled like he was chain smoking cheap cigarettes with his windows rolled up and actually stunk up the area in my house where he was measuring.

Tried the texting service. After 15 minutes of back and forth they are able to tell me it is 'on time with a scheduled delivery between 3pm and 7pm'. I explain that the delivery window I was given was from 1-5pm, and that I need it to arrive in that window. Sent them a screenshot of the delivery confirmation and time. Rep tells me that doesn't match his information, and that he has no idea why that happened, but we are stop 20. How is that helpful? Does that mean I am Stop 20 of 100? 20 of 1000? I explained that I had rescheduled my entire day around this delivery and am not in a position to sit and hope someone shows up in the next few hours. Can they please put me in touch with someone who has more information or can help? Text goes dead - never responds. Very professional. Delivery guys finally arrive around 6pm. Dryer is dead on arrival (won't power on). Installer thinks it is my outlet. Takes another 15 minutes with a volt-meter to prove to them that the outlet is fine. Refused delivery on the dryer. Delivery drivers refused to install a stacking washer dryer unit because the water spigot shut offs are in the basement. I had a Kenmore stacking unit in the exact same place for 17 years with no problems. Also the drivers were not supplied with a dolly with a strap. The stacking unit is over six feet tall and two of them carried it in using a nylon strap that went under the unit and around their skinny bodies. I think this is unsafe and unkind to the drivers. I had terrible experiences with Forward Final Mile (a Forward Air company). After 7 deliveries over a month and a half I still do not have an undamaged washer or dryer. From deep scratches to the items causes by delivery people, to damage to my home, to a delivery person bleeding and leaving bio hazardous material at my house, to them deliberately trying to hide the fact that they were giving me damage goods (likely damaged by the warehouse). It has been a nightmare. Finally just asked for my money back from Home Depot. When a Home Depot employee tells you, prior to buying the product, to inspect the item before it comes into your house and do not accept delivery if anything is wrong, it should have been clear this is not an isolated incident.

Delivery was ahead of schedule for a washer/dryer we recently purchased. The delivery men hooked up the new washer but told us to call a toll free number to have someone come hook up the dryer. We made the call and we’re told that no one would be available to hook up the dryer until 13 days from now. That’s totally unacceptable given the fact all of the items necessary were located in the dryer.

Home Depot delivery is a joke. I purchased $4000.00 in appliances had to set up (2) deliveries because the items are not in stock. Now I have to waste 2 Saturdays waiting around for delivery. Set up Saturday delivery and when they deliver they bring damaged appliances and then say "sorry I have bad news" your appliance is damaged. Why do you put damaged appliances on the truck for delivery?. The delivery guy gives me a number to call to reschedule my Saturday delivery. I call the number they tell me cant help me it has not been 24-48 hours and technically Home Depot has until the following Wednesday to contact me. They contact me today give me a random delivery date I tell them I need Saturday delivery they tell me have to wait 2 weeks for the next available Saturday. I tell them why should I have to wait they are the ones that did not deliver as promised. The guy on the phone puts me on hold and comes back and said this is the first available date for delivery I said "need Saturday delivery" he says then you have to wait for 2 weeks that is all we have available. Home Deport your salesman promises you the world no problem we will work with you. Once they get your money they push you off to delivery who don't have a clue about customer service and don't care that this is their fault for trying to deliver damaged appliances

I asked what the plumber needed to do and was shown a picture as the technician could not explain it. I asked for a copy of the photo three times and they said they would send it. They never did. They wanted me to sign the paperwork even though they had not completed the install. I refused. I then called a plumber who came out and said they had no idea what the technician was talking about. I had to call Home Depot back to reschedule install and now have to wait to more weeks. Hopefully this technician actually can communicate effectively and complete the install. After that is finished I am pretty sure I will never use Home Depot to install anything ever again (we had a previous experience that was similar). They had their second chance.

I've had propane trucks, tree trimming trucks, electric company trucks, XL U-Haul trucks, etc... use my driveway with no issues. 3rd delivery canceled the day of delivery [today] (THEY SENT THE EXACT SAME TRUCK & DRIVER AFTER I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED A SMALLER TRUCK AFTER THE LAST FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPT!) I was told I could "try again next weekend or cancel my order". I canceled. If they can't get it right the first 3 times... The ONLY reason I went with Home Depot and my 2nd choice of a set was because of the faster delivery date. I had to take off work 3 times, cleared out my entire laundry room 3 times, moved everything back in 3 times, have had to go to laundromats for a month, spent hours on the phone with H.D.'s customer service constantly getting transferred and put on hold, same with Forward Final Mile (H.D.'s delivery service) & still no washer & dryer! Now, I'm out 3 days pay and I have to wait 5-7 business days before I can get my refund and be able to order from somewhere else. Home Depot's appliance delivery operations are terrible. So unorganized, and the communication from the delivery team is nonexistent. I ordered a dishwasher on their website, and the soonest delivery was 1 month out. Not ideal, but fine with me. Delivery day comes and they never show up. Meanwhile they marked the dishwasher as "Delivered" on their tracker. I call their support team and they say they don't know what happened but assure me it'll be delivered by end of day. Never came. Call them that evening and they reschedule the delivery for two days out. They never came on that day either. Two scheduled deliveries and they didn't show up for either one! Sure wasted a lot of my time, though. Finally I called to cancel the order and get a refund. Rep told me I would get a refund in 3-5 business days. 5 days later, still no refund, so I call and then I'm told the refund takes 7-10 business days. Been over 10 days and still no refund. Home Depot wasted my time on not one, but two(!) delivery days, never gave me my dishwasher, and have now taken several weeks to issue a refund. We ordered a GE upright freezer. They were right on time with the delivery. The trouble is, our freezer was lying horizontally on the floor of the truck. The one next to it was tilted on its side caught on another box. It looked like both of them had once been upright and had fallen over in transit. Anyone with any knowledge knows that freezers and refrigerators have to be kept upright, and if they have to be horizontal at all it should be brief and put back upright asap so the oil from the compressor does not get into the refrigeration tubes. Our delivery guy said “its fine, just plug it right up”. They obviously did not know or care that freezers are supposed to remain upright! They were not secured in the truck. Worst appliance delivery ever. We shall see if it works when we plug it up tomorrow. Hopefully the oil will have gone back where is supposed to go but who knows?

They deliver applicances and don't install them as promised; it takes weeks to schedule installation, and then if the appliance doesn't work, Home Depot refuses to take it back because it was more than 48 hours from delivery. If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. Here's what happened to us: we ordered a new LG dryer on line from what we understood to be the Home Depot store in Rehoboth Beach DE. We also asked for it to be installed and the old dryer to be hauled away. When we were finally able to obtain delivery, the driver said he did not do installations; nor would he haul away the old dryer. He dumped the new dryer in our entrance area and wouldn't bring it to our laundry room. After numerous, hour-long calls to the Home Depot in Delaware, we learned that the dryer was actually shipped from the Home Depot in Ocean City MD. After numerous lengthy calls with personnel there we were able to schedule installation a month (!) after delivery. Upon installation we discovered the dryer did not work at all. Home Depot refused to take it away because their policy is you can't return an appliance more than 48 hours after delivery!!!! We now have to get the supposedly brand new appliance we paid full price for serviced by the manufacturer; in other words, HD stuck us with a lemon.

We purchased a refrigerator and it arrived damaged. Our main complaint was about the delivery service we received. Two men came with a hand truck with flat wheels and the hand truck had no strap to secure our purchase. The truck was inadequate as it had no automatic lift, but a ramp that they attached to the truck. My husband went out to the truck and it was not packed adequately. The delivery men stated that they had 2 other items besides our that were damaged on their truck. I am no expert but that seems like a very high number of appliances damaged on 1 truck. Our refrigerator bounced up and down as it was being taken out of the truck. Also, they scratched our paint when they hit the door jam taking out the other appliance. Come on Home Depot, you can do better than this. We purchased other appliances from a major competitor with expert delivery service. And I might add no damage to the appliances. Now we have to wait another 2 weeks for our next replacement refrigerator. If i could have have given a negative rating I would have. These men were a drop and run type, did not hook up our water and left all the parts for the refrigerator on the floor for us to unpack and assemble. So my real true rating would be a negative 5.

6/10/22 On June 9, 2022, the morning before my new LG washer was to be delivered, I got an automated phone call from Home Depot’s contracted installation company telling me my washer was to be delivered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. the already-scheduled next day, June 10, and if I couldn’t be available, they would reschedule if I pressed a number. I accepted the 10 to 2 time slot, even though it was late notice for me to cancel my Friday morning (June 10) plans, which I did. Instead, I made alternate plans to walk my daughter’s dog, since she needed to work early and I thought I had until 9:30 or so to get back home. Some installers offer morning or afternoon time slots, but this recorded message was firm about when I needed to be home, with no choice of time slot for that installation date made at my time of purchase. On Friday, June 10, I got a phone call from the installer at 8:49 a.m. saying they would be at my house with the washer in 30 to 35 minutes. I was walking my grand dog and not ready for them, but I hurried to finish our walk and drive home. A few minutes after 9 a.m. as I was driving home, I got another call from the installers that they were at my home. They said if they had to wait over 3 minutes, they’d charge me a $30 fee. I said the installation time was 10 to 2, but that didn’t seem to interest them. I drove home way too fast, and got there to see the new washer unwrapped and perched on the tailgate of their yellow Penske rental truck, ready to be unloaded. They wheeled the new washer down my driveway to my lower level entry and came in to remove my old washer from my basement. They said they would have to remove the pedestal it was sitting on as well as the old washer and that would be an extra removal fee of $30. I said I wanted the new washer put on that pedestal so I didn’t have to bend over to load the clothes or I would have bought a top loader instead. They said they would be liable in case “an earthquake” knocked the new washer off my old pedestal and that the hardware to connect the pedestal to the new washer might not be in the same places on the two different makes of equipment. My old washer and pedestal are Kenmore and my new washer is LG. The hardware bolt places looked exactly the same to me, but I never got the chance to measure, as they were focused on hurrying me along and getting their extra money. They did allow me to mop the 12 year old dust from under the pedestal, and they left it in my garage and took away all the connecting nuts and bolts. They offered to take away my pedestal, but my goal is to find a handyperson who will reinstall my new washer without the kink in the water line (no extra charge for that!) on my pedestal. I gave the installers a $30 check (they only took cash or check) made out to “Scammers Co.” I truly feel scammed. Not only did I try buying the washer online, which wasn’t easy, but with the extra charges for new water hoses ($30, natch) delivery and removal charges and of course tax, it was way more than the advertised online price. That was ok. What wasn’t ok was the not-on-time delivery and unwillingness to have any regard for me as a customer other than to remind the installers that I was a potential victim who might give them more of my money than they were intended to already get. I don’t like the kink (bend) in the new water hose which I tried to smooth out with the plastic curved piece that came with the installation but which they didn’t bother to use. I called Home Depot, and Carolyn at the Manchester Road store said, after hearing my story, she’d call me right back that day; she didn’t. She told me a person from the Chesterfield Home Depot store would call me that day as well. That was two days ago, and neither call got to my phone. Customer service with a sneer.

Had a washer/dryer delivered. Was told by delivery man (island Movers) our vent attachment was outdated and he couldn't install it and so we will loose all the warranty...all the warranty cause he needed to be the one to install it. I did understand what he was saying then and that the problem was probably between Home Depot salesperson but stood in shock and helplessness. The salesperson at Home Depot spefically asked me what kind of vent i it looked...what color the coil was. I told him..he said,"okay good." The delivery guy said there's no sense attaching washer since we needed to fix the vent. We told him, "no, go ahead and attach it since the installation of the washer wasnt the problem. But he didn't. He mumbled something about getting a plumber, had us sign his paper, took pictures, then with mo words just left. By the way I called Island Movers to speak with manager who worked along with Home Depot . It was the most unpleasant service which left me feeling terrible the whole day. The initial delivery took place on May 18 for the installation of a whirlpool refrigerator, and Whirlpool Gas Range. Unfortunately the Dishwasher could not be installed that day because a valve needed to be installed for the hot water line which was added and completed a few days later by a plumber provided by Home Depot... So the Dishwasher was rescheduled for Delivery and installation for May 25. That Dishwasher was damaged when delivered and we could not accept it. We contacted Home Depot Customer Support for a replacement Dishwasher which was rescheduled for June 8 and was delivered was another Whirlpool Refrigerator... So again another call to customer support, which by the way Home Depots Support Associates have been terrific thru all of this, very professional and understanding. As of today we are now waiting to hear back from Home Depot Support in the 24-48 hrs for a 4th reschedule of our Dishwasher... Hoping this will be the final time

The second set of idiots said it would be too hard to install, I asked if $50.00 would make it any easier? They took the money and installed the fridge! Simply amazing isn't it? We ordered a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. First visit : -They couldn't find refrigerator on loading dock to deliver it, could not install dishwasher because they couldn't shut off the water, could not push stove against the wall because the plug was in the way. The onsite condo maintenance rep showed them how to turn the knob on the valve under the sink to shut off the water to dishwasher. I tested it myself and unhooked the hose - no water as it should be with valve shut. They left without hooking it up. Second visit: Refrigerator would not fit through kitchen door according to rep. Refused to hook up the dishwasher because they did not like the type of shutoff valve. Left without doing anything. I checked the refrigerator dimensions on the home depot website and the refrigerator would have fit if they had taken off the doors. I need hire an outside contractor for the dishwasher installation because they don't like the shut off valve. I had to purchase anther refrigerator from a different vendor.

The subcontractor that Home Depot uses is horrible! I ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot in January 2022 and because it was on back order, it would not be delivered until March 12. I was find with that since my old refrigerator was still working. Two days before March 12, I received a text message saying my delivery day was now scheduled for April 29. With all the problems manufactures we’re having getting parts and the fact I had a working refrigerator, I was understanding of the delay. Just to be sure I contacted GE direct and they said it would be at Home Depot for delivery on April 29. Home Depot contact me on April 28 to give me the delivery window time for April 29. They came early in the delivery window which was great; however, the problems soon began. First the delivery people pull out my old refrigerator, took one look at the water value barely tried to turn it and said the valve had to be replaced and it would be done at no cost to me. They told me that the plumber would call that day to schedule an appointment to come within 2 days and that when he came he would bring the refrigerator and install it. . I did not hear from a plumber that day, but three days later. They then told me that the plumber would be out on May 2, but after he came out I would have to then contact Home Depot to schedule a time for delivery. We contacted Home Deport and asked them to explain why the delivery service told us that the plumber would come with the refrigerator and once valve was replaced they would them install the refrigerator and now they are telling us we have to set up a new time to delivery the refrigerator. They said the refrigerator could only be scheduled for delivery after the plumber came. They couldn’t seem to get their story straight. After waiting on hold we were told the plumber would be out the next day to fix the valve and install the refrigerator. The next day came and neither plumber nor the refrigerator came during the delivery window. I contacted Home Depot customer service again…and once again we were back to old story that plumber would now be out the following day to fix valve and then we would need to contact Home Depot again to schedule delivery of refrigerator. Needless to say, I was very upset. My customer rep put me on hold and then came back to assure me that the plumber would be out the next day between 1-3 pm and he would bring the refrigerator to install. I have little faith that the plumber and refrigerator will be here tomorrow. I have been patient because I want a white French door refrigerator and I know that I have one sitting in a warehouse. The delivery people wouldn’t leave it because they couldn’t install it until the valve was changed. However, Home Depot cannot seem to get the plumber out so that they can final install the refrigerator. One other thing on the original delivery date the delivery guys kept measuring all the door,ways to make sure they could fit the refrigerators through the two doorways they needed to get through. My current refrigerator is the same size and when Lowes delivered it 10 years ago they had no problems. Home Depot and their delivery service Daryl Flood Delivery and Logistics are very unprofessional. My recommendation is to avoid Home Depot. I don’t intend to shop there again. There are other big box stores in my area.

Then the supervisor said it could be rescheduled for Tuesday 4/19/22 and I said I want it today, but again the Delivery idiots would not budge. So the supervisor @ HD offered $150.00 off the washer. I have never had the issues we have with our appliance delivery. We purchased and paid for appliances in February set a delivery date for April 15. April 14th called to verify and confirmed delivery but window of delivery had not been issued yet. Later in the evening the online tracker could no longer find our delivery and the merchant was closed. Called back first thing in the morning and was told they don’t have any information and I will hear from the warehouse by 4. Called back 3 hrs later and asked for an explanation. Was told they contacted the warehouses customer service, who contacted the warehouse (now we are from HD, to GE appliance delivery, to a 3rd party customer service to a 4th party delivery service) who stated they return calls in 24-48 hrs and can’t guarantee a delivery until 10 days later. But still can’t tell me if the appliances are even at the warehouse or why they were reported on the truck the night before and missing today. Escalations then stated there was no record of me calling in to confirm the night before (which I then took as accusational in nature that I was lying). I then asked why I would have gotten rid of my perfectly functional stove, while 5 months pregnant and my husband being out of town if I would have know this was going to happen. And ultimately had to hang up with the escalations member because there is absolutely no resolution she or anyone has been able to provide and I still have no appliances, phone call from the warehouse, or reach out but the appliances were still paid for 2 months ago.

Bought an $800 Samsung dishwasher from Home Depot for our new Kitchen Remodel. Has anyone delt with multiple contractors and trying to schedule them and all they need to do? This is the problem I have with Home Depot return problems, if the timing is off, your appliance sits until it is installed, even if you try and work with the contractor to ensure the Home Depot rule of installation within 48 hours to see if it works. It takes an act of God to be able to time this with contractors so they can install it under these Home Depot Guidelines and be able to test run the appliance. Long story short, due to contractor scheduling foul ups, the dishwasher was installed over the 48 hour rule, and it doesn’t work. We had Samsung techs look at it and it still doesn’t work. My advice, boycott Home Depot, especially their appliance department with their idiotic appliance return policy. What a joke Home Depot is. I will forever bad mouth, discredit, and advise people to go ANYWHERE but Home Depot again. Classic case of big business sticking it to the working class. What a bunch of thieves.

The delivery guys dinged our walls going all the way upstairs, ruined our banister, took a chunk out of our door and doorframe while trying to get it through the door, didn’t cover the open wires coming out of the back of the dryer, blew our circuit breaker with the first dryer they brought because they wired it incorrectly so they had to take it away and bring another one… worst experience I’ve ever had with a home delivery. NEVER ordering through Home Depot again and I’m a huge fan of HD!

Reading the review from Lake Orion, Mi. is almost exactly our experience minus the weed aftershave. First dishwasher was broken so I filled out the drivers paperwork and they put it back on the truck. Home Depot refunded my installation charge but not the appliance. So I went online and re-ordered the same one to be delivered 4 days later. Things were looking good. But the delivery guys called and said they couldn't install it because it had been in a frozen truck for a long time and said the pump was probably frozen from factory testing and couldn't be tested in my kitchen. He then took pictures under my sink and said the water shutoff was stuck. Which I've now fixed. He said the shutoff had to be on the same floor as the dishwasheI told him I could shut off the entire system. Nothing. So now I have a brand new dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen. I said screw it I'll install it myself. He said they might not refund my installation charge. Home Depot has done nothing. They told me to contact Whirlpool, who own KitchenAid. That was worthless. Still nothing happening and they owe me $1000. Frustrating is not the word.

If I could give a 0, I would. ALL of the horror story reviews are true. Our first delivery date was Jan. 11, and it was pushed back to Feb 2nd without our knowledge. No phone call, email, or anything. Day of, the window for drop out was 7-11am. They showed up at 7:30 and were set to leave in 30 minutes. My MIL did not hear them knock and they said they could not come back at a later time and the date would have to be rescheduled to the end of the month, AGAIN. What is the point of a 4 hour window if you only have an actual 30 minute window? Not to mention the TWO ladies on customer were the absolute rudest I have ever dealt with. I’m 21 and do not get this upset easily so I hope everyone is aware that this was an insane situation. Order from literally ANYWHERE else and take these awful reviews seriously.

Back in late December I made sure I bought a washer and dryer that were not out of stock. I just needed them delivered. I paid for everything in store to include $100 installed. Didn't have old ones to haul away. It was supposed to be no later than 15 January. Then Friday, I got a text, no phone call, that it Das changed to the 29th with a 1230-1630 window. Yes, I wasted the whole day off starting at my phone and watching for the truck that never came. I caked the store at 1650, on the day the delivery was supposed to happen... The lady said she called the driver and it's just running a little late... I was still going to get the delivery by end of day. Well... 2030, I caked the store asking how late they deliver, and they actually stop at 2000. I was so mad.. Waste of a day, and it's a shame that the employee I spoke with earlier actually lied... Because when I called later that night, no one could reach the third party driver and they were never going to deliver my appliances I already paid for. What crap service... At least call. The store said the only thing I CAN do is call their delivery service on Monday to be rescheduled. What crap service! Not using the Home Depot again.

WILL NEVER BUY anything from HOME DEPOT that needs installation. My son bought me a new dishwasher for Christmas 2021. The 1st one was damaged and had to be returned. When I tried to reorder they claimed the dishwasher was no longer available even though it’s still listed for sale on the website. So I picked a different one. The day it was supposed to be delivered/installed , 1/24/22, they called 2 minutes before delivery, admitting that they should have called 1/2 hour before, but I allowed them to come in. Two young men, ages 22 and 26 came in with wet shoes without anything to cover their shoes and reeking of MARIJUANA. When I addressed the smell one of the guys claimed the smell was his cologne (REALLY!!). One of them looked under the cabinet and said he could not install the dishwasher because the pipe extending from the back wall is PVC piping. Again, REALLY! He then said he needed to call in to the service center just to be sure. He also took a picture and supposedly sent it in to the service center. When someone finally answered, that guy 1st claimed he couldn’t find the picture, then claimed he found it and that HOME DEPOT’s policy is to not install a dishwasher that has PVC piping. I would venture to say that half the homes out there have PVC piping. During the time that we were waiting on the so-call service center to respond I asked these two young men where they were from. The stated that they live in ALABAMA and are hired to go all over the US to work. They live in an extended hotel. Here’s the deal. The SUBCONTRACTORS that Home Depot hire are hiring people with no experience to install appliances. It’s a hit or miss deal yet they are charging people for installations. They know full well that their customers might end up with people who have no skills and can’t install and they have a wide range of excuses for them to use. I should have sent the dishwasher back but because it’s the second one I decided to try and find someone else to install it. Now, my son will have to try and get the installation fee back from these people. Where in the heck did service go! Capitalism at it’s worse!!!

Maybe this is all a symptom of current business practices where lots of different parties are involved and none of them are invested in the entire process. It's kind of like a "swarm" of entities over-communicating needless information with endless requests for positive ratings .... while under- communicating something basic like: "customer needs to de-install their own appliance before the people contracted to deliver the appliance will also haul the old appliance away." It is just common sense that a customer that needs help with INSTALLATION would also need help with DE-INSTALLATION. But that outsourced model would require: Step One (third party de-installation), Step Two (third party delivery), Step Three (third party haul away, and Step Four (third party installation). It would be simpler and more effective if the third party that delivers the new appliance would also de-install, install and haul away. BUT, when the rude outsourced third party can't deliver the new appliance because the silly customer (who needed installation services) could not de-install their old appliance and thus cancelled any need for the unfortunate outsourced third party to install the new appliance, everything goes to hell. (1) Home Depot loses the sale, (2) the outsourced delivery service probably gets paid for trying to deliver even though no actual delivery took place, (3) the third party haul away service is cancelled, (4) the third party installation service is cancelled, (5) the credit card issuer is contacted to cancel the transaction, and (5) Home Depot gets the appliance returned ... resulting in wasted time, energy, money and a degree of understandable frustration for all concerned. Frankly, the effort and know-how required to de-install the appliance was precisely what caused me to try to buy the new appliance. Hell, if I have to de-install the appliance, I'll buy the replacement part and repair it. The Home Depot Experience was bad. It could have been avoided if Home Depot simply informed me that I'd need to de-install the appliance before anything else could be done. That may have caused me to re-think any purchase but at least we would not have wasted the time, energy and expenses of, by my count, 6 different entities. You couldn't run a do-nut shop this way.

I WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE SERVICE WITH HOMEDEPOT IS HORRIBLE!. During Black Friday sale I purchased (Refrig, microwave, dishwasher and stove) from The Home Depot store in New Rochelle, New York. My items were slated to be delivered January 10th. I stayed at home and no one showed up. I was on the phone with both the appliance manager at the store and the delivery customer service for 4 hours only to hear that a product was delayed and didn’t arrive to the warehouse until late. I received no phone call or anything notifying me of this and therefore I missed a days worth of pay. I finally reached a supervisor who said the next available date is January 18th (which is today). I stayed at home and took another day off of work and no one showed up AGAIN. This time I called and the representative said that someone put in the system they came and no one was home. This is a lie. I’ve been up since 7:00am waiting because I had no delivery window estimate and I took the day off work again. This is two days worth of pay that I lost and still no appliances that I paid for. This is unacceptable and horrible how I have been treated as a customer. Not mention there is no one to directly speak to when in crisis. I will never purchase anything from Home Depot again. In addition, I will post and let everyone I know not to buy anything from this store.

They cancelled twice, once was even a no show with zero notice. I had ordered a stove when it was delivered, they would not take it up one flight of steps to the kitchen. I called the store to complain, and they could have cared less and the assistant manager actually suggested that I rent a dolly from them and do it myself. I am now in the process of dealing with corporate in Atlanta to see if things can get resolved. Lowe’s delivered a fridge to the second level with no problem and also took the washer and dryer up two flights of steps with zero problems. Please do not shop at this Home Depot.

We bought a new refrigerator from Home Depot on a Sunday, delivery scheduled for Wednesday. We have been trying to save food in coolers until today. Window was 10-2. Drivers show up at 9:40 am, one driver has no mask. I opened the door and they compliment my top, as I walk in the house the mask less guy goes ‘Mmmmmm” (On my Ring video). The come in, and because the shit off valve is downstairs they won’t deliver. They then compliment my hair, tell me multiple times how nice I look. Although they claim they ONLY deliver, won’t leave the refrigerator because of the shut off valve, they don’t want to be responsible for poor installation. So now I’m without a refrigerator another week! Going to shop elsewhere today for a refrigerator that can be delivered properly this week.

There are no negative stars or they would be here. Why, you ask? Because there is no installation. Buy your dishwasher and install it yourself or have somebody you know install it for you. The guy who dropped it off couldn’t get out of the door fast enough. Told me a plumber had to come back to install it. When I set up the appointment for the plumber to come back and install it I asked will the plumber remove the old machine as what I paid for. Nope!! That’s what the guy on the phone said “no the plumber will see the old machine and he will takeoff.” Will he remove the old machine if I take it out what’s my next question. Nope! But I paid for removal “oh you would have to call somebody separately for that.” So after I had this dishwasher sitting in my kitchen for a week in a box I had to remove the old machine by myself. Dispose of it by myself. Now I called them and told them I want my money back for services not rendered. Still waiting on a refund on my credit card for installation that never happened. Now I need to have somebody who come in and help me to install it because it’s a little more complicated than I am able. Imagine you’re some 75-year-old lady who buys a new dishwasher and they tell her on the phone you have to remove it yourself after you paid for the service!! All of these reviews I see say the same thing. Hey Home Depot if you’re reading this message just tell people you don’t do installations. Because you don’t. I should’ve read these reviews before I went there I probably could’ve gotten a dishwasher anywhere and hooked it up myself.

We purchased a new washer and dryer from The Home Depot with installation and removal of the old unit on December 23, 2021 and scheduled delivery for January 4, 2022. We were told that on January 3 evening, I would receive a call to let us know the delivery schedule. No one call on January 3rd so I called the delivery service 1877 946 9843 and was told our delivery would be between 9:30 -13:30 on January 4th and I would received a call from delivery person before they came. On January 4th 11:30 am I called the store Appliance department, and was told the delivery time would be 12:30 – 3:30 pm, nothing happed and the delivery time shifted from 3:30 to 5:30 pm after 3 calls. No single called from delivery and finally, the delivery person called and came around 5:00 pm. They are not properly trained and dropped the tools on wood floor several times. Later, we were told that the washer hose is too short, need 6 feet long hose, the hose Home Depot ordered is 4 feet and I need to buy 6 feet long hose, return 4 feet hose and install our self. Home Depot is a good company but they do not select a good sub contractor. We bought Dish washer from Lowe’s with delivery and installation, the gentleman came on time, install and test the machine very professionally.

LINNSTAR (to whom this Home Depot has subcontracted their deliveries) finally showed up with the right fridge, then proceeded to give me grief about having to take fridge up a flight of steps and take the doors off to get it in the house. When it came to installation, which is the same team that delivers, again the G&E Team tried to reschedule twice without an explanation, reason or call. We found out after numerous calls to Home Depot associates and getting a phone number from an associate. You are a disappointment HD and will not hesitate to share this with BBB, social media and friends

I purchased a new dishwasher with installation and removal of the old unit from The Home Depot on Nov 4th and scheduled delivery for Dec 1st to avoid Thanksgiving. I received notice my delivery would be between 2-6PM. On the Dec 1st I checked online / call number and was informed the item was on the delivery truck and the delivery was on schedule. I never received an advance notice call. Around 5:30PM I reached a person at the delivery service number who put me on hold to contact the delivery service; after 23 minutes on hold, she hung up. The next day the delivery number recognized that my item had not been delivered. In talking to an agent, I was told it was never on the truck for delivery. Delivery was rescheduled for the next available appointment 2 weeks later - Dec 16th. On the 15th I received notice of a 2-6PM delivery window. On the 16th the delivery service showed up 2 hours early. Upon bringing the item in the house, I asked about the installation and was told "we don't do installation..... you need to call and put in an order." I've now called the local store 5 times and not reached the person who can schedule this. I've call the delivery service number and just been told earliest installation they can schedule is Dec 31st. You can't write comedy this good. As God is my witness, I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot every again.

Had one of the worst experiences with a vendor, that I can remember. Went to your flooring dept. at you Poulsbo Washington location picked a slate flooring and scheduled install. After waiting 2 months they show up today, pull my carpet, cutting it into pieces, remove it with padding, lay out my slate, call manager, manager comes, installers leave. Evidently they do not like to install flooring on chip Crete, which is what I have over my radiant floor heating system. I am sitting in my home with no flooring and no resolution other than oops sorry, we can refund you you're money. Crystal (from flooring) and Shannon (store manager) were absolutely no help. This is how you operate? The measurer came out 2 months ago, measured, pulled a corner of carpet and indicated the subfloor, so what's the problem? Why am I sitting in my home with no flooring and no help!! As my records will show, I have spent $15,000. at Home Depot this year and hundreds of thousands over the past decades. This is completely unacceptable. Contact at Home Depot Executive Escalations, was a joke. She claims she is an advocate for the consumer, when she is just trying to make the issue go away.

Home Depot Install service is horrible because they won't install anything. They are really just delivery drivers with no skills. I can stick a dishwasher in the hole myself, what I need is installation people that can access what needs to be done and then do the work to install my new appliance. Not every home is new construction with everything set up perfectly for a new appliance. We ordered a new dishwasher to be installed in our home which was built in 1982. They came out and said they couldn't do it because we needed a different valve and to call a plumber. The plumber came and spent 5 minutes putting in a new valve. Installer came back and said they couldn't do it because we needed a different plug. Never did understand what they were talking about but they said we needed an electrician and they left. So what is the point of home depots installation service if the installers aren't qualified to do any plumbing or electrical, or whatever needs to be done? They should just do delivery and tell people to hire their own installers. Waste of time. Very frustrating and pointless.

Never dealing with Home Depot again. Purchased a washer/dryer in early October. First delivery -- dryer was heavily damaged. Second scheduled delivery in November-- dryer was intact but the washing machine was heavily damaged. Third delivery in December - never even saw the machines because installers refused to install the dryer because we have a flexible duct connecting to the vent and they insisted it had to be a solid 4 inch pipe which is just ludicrous. As a matter of fact, at the time of purchase Home Depot insisted we had to purchase new flexible ductwork that the installers would bring with them because they don't use existing flex ducts. So there's that. They also claimed there was corrosion on the water supply valves which was just some old paint, not corrosion. Called customer service and cancelled the order and was told that the refund would be delayed because they were busy with the holidays after they've had my cash for over 2 months and I have no laundry pair. If there was a choice of ZERO it would be too high.

Home Depot appliance delivery service is horrible, We will never purchase another appliance from them. The delivery of our clothes dryer was scheduled for 3:30 to 7:30 pm. The delivery crew did not show up or call us. I called Home Depot and asked them to deliver the following day. They said we had to do to go to the end of the line and wait another 10 days. 10 Days later they called and said they would arrive in 30 minutes. So I leave work and rush home. They showed up in 1 1/2 hours. The installer broke our dryer vent elbow so could not install the appliance. At that point I showed them the door and finished the installation myself

I was charged $170 for installation kit The installed refused and said I needed plumbing work but did not specify what was needed. Home depot rescheduled our delivery twice and it was not our fault. Someone is supposed to call us few minutes before delivery. We never received the call and delivery guys just left note on the door. Thats it. Again nobody calls , you need to call again and reschedule the delivery as you need your appliances. Six years after I had them install a gas dryer, I found out that it was installed incorrectly by a Peco inspector who was at my house for a gas leak and found the improper installation when restarting my gas hot-water heater. The booklet I received with the new appliance and installation stated, incorrectly, that they followed code, which they did not. They blatantly lied, saying they had followed correct and safe procedures for the gas connection when in fact, they did not. Peco turned off the gas to my dryer because it was a hazard and I had to pay a plumber to come out and do what they falsely claimed to have done. Luckily, no one in the house was injured from their incompetence, but I think Home Depot should be picking up the tab for the plumber who connected my dryer correctly.

Horrible. I bought a new matched set washer dryer. I made sure to pick one they had plenty of in the warehouse. It was over 2 weeks for delivery, but ok, i get it, lots of deliveries. The big day came, they installed, and the washer didn't work. I called it in that day and was told installers would have to come by to check it out. A week later 2 different installers came by, check it out and told me the washer was faulty and would have to be replaced. Another call to the 800 number and I was told I would have to wait over 2 weeks for a new washer to be delivered. I explained to the lady that I had already spent my time at the back of the line and i wanted to be moved to the front. No way, I had to wait another 2 1/2 weeks. I went to the Silverdale store to complain, talked to the manager who lied to me and told me I could not return them both for a refund. The info plainly says that if you report it right away, faulty or damaged appliances can be returned for a refund. Do not buy an appliance from these jokers. They hide behind a 3rd party delivery system and they are liars.

Waited three weeks for our appliances and the delivery drivers refused to install, even though we paid for it, because we had plates out of the dishwasher (that was broken) and a pot of food on the stove (from lunch). When we called we were told it was really because we hadn’t uninstalled and moved the appliances ourselves and that was expected. No one told us we had to uninstall and move our own appliances before they’d install new ones and if I knew how to uninstall/install appliances I wouldn’t be paying someone to do it. Home Depot refunded the money and we are selecting our own installation service. Will NEVER buy with Home Depot again.

My mother who is a sr citizen & 1,000 miles away from me needed a fridge. I ordered it from my local store in PA to be delivered to her in the midwest. Nothing but excuses about covid, blah bla blah it will be 4 to 6 wks. So I pay for it 20% cash & 80% H/D store card. Fast fwd 42 days later on delivery day I get a call from my mom, NOT the delivery guy that "delivery co says all her doors (standard size doors) are too small for a tiny 20 cu ft fridge to fit thru". I thought this is absolutely bonkers. The delivery guy just eyeballed it & half measured but made NO attempts to even unload the fridge from the truck. I feel he lied to a senior citizen in her own home & as his defense used his "years of service in the business" to KNOW everything. He took the fridge back to the warehouse now I have to REBUY the same fridge that went up an extra $100 plus wait another 4 to 6 wks on delivery. I feel the guy lied because he didnt want to remove the old fridge out the way plus remove the doors on the new fridge to get it in there plus reinstall the doors. As for the cost it took Home Depot SO long to deliver it, I have made not 1 but TWO payments on it & have to go thru hell & high water to get a refund. Supposedly theyre going to expidite contact with "procurement" or some dumb department at their warehouse. They can see my whole order, the ignorant @$$ 3rd party deliverys notes, & the store credit card info/payments but they cant do a refund on the spot! Lowes really is no better. If u dont absolutely need an apploance folks dont buy anything right now! Just let the economy ground to a halt & all these folks can be out of a job

Let me tell you- these guys make up their own rules. Shame on Home Depot who tells me they've had soooo many complaints with this place but THEY STILL USE THEM despite the customers concerns. Which, I guarantee you will have if you buy major appliances at Home depot. I spent a wad on all new appliances for my condo, washer and dryer included. Washer and dryer arrived a month later- they installed the dryer using the old vent despite me having to buy a new one- which they left in the garage. The disrespectful and cockey installer cranked the 'legs' on the dryer as high as they would go so when the washer was installed it was 2" higher than the washer and 5" apart from it. I asked for them to be leveled and Mr Cockey said 'nope, don't have to. I was told to only make sure it didn't wobble.' So it got left like that. Plus they were installed backwards- doors open into each other instead of away. Very awkward on wash day. To top it off, Mr Cockey skipped 8 of the 11 instructions for installing the washer. I asked about the shipping bolts being removed and he said 'I did that a long time ago which meant he removed them at their warehouse and trucked my front load washer a lot of miles with no support on the drum mechanism - a big no no. The frosting on the cake was as Mr Cockey was exiting my condo he jerked the power cord to the washer out of the wall and threw it behind the washer. Laundry tub right next to it made a difficult retrievel. I'm 72 and I have NEVER been so disrespectful been treated. He was the equivalent of a snot nosed brat. I wouldn't spend another damned dime at Home Depot if my ceilings fell in and they were the only appliance place within 2000 miles. So we get to the delivery of the refrigerator, range, dishwasher and over the range microwave 12 days later. All going well until they get to the microwave. Upper support bolt stuck in the old one and they had no tool to cut it (Remember this is a delivery/INSTALL place) and said someone else would come out to take care of it and do the install. Crew #2 shows up a week later, proceeds to attempt the install and tells me there's a bolt stuck in the top of the microwave that needs to be cut. I asked if they had not been given that information when they were assigned the job??? Said 'NO, nobody told us that's. And, yep- they had no toll to cut it. A week later Crew #3 shows up. I asked if by chance, had anyone made them aware of the problem here???? You hot it- answer was NO. So I told them and they said 'Were not allowed to do anything like that'!!!!! Bottom line - they dumped the install on me. So here I am over 2 months after purchasing all these appliances and my microwave is sitting in the garage. I was so angry I had to step away from this whole Home Depot mess for awhile before it affected my health. I'm ready to jump back in now so I'm going higher up the ladder in the Home Depot barrel and see what excuses they have. And then to Samsung to let them know how their products and reputation are being cheapened by Home Depot I'm not holding my breath.

Like other folks, this has been, by far, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. We ordered a refrigerator, range and over the range microwave. The 3 came on time the first time but our fridge had a massive dent on the front. I wish I just kept it! Instead of rescheduling, they cancelled my order and didn’t issue a refund. I had to call Home Depot and get it reordered AND rescheduled. The kicker is that they wouldnt fully honor the sale I got it for. And the refund was never for the full amount. When it was finally settled and rescheduled, I found out it was the wrong address. I then had to cancel the order AGAIN and wait for a new delivery date. After the date came and went, they NEVER contacted me again to say it’s been rescheduled for 15 days. But the next time, it’s “guaranteed” to deliver. The day came, and they called me to say theyre coming. Only for me to call and find out it’s not on the schedule and the soonest it will come is a month from now. I’m besides myself. I’d cancel it entirely but We’d be out even more money since we never got fully reimbursed from the first transaction. I can’t stress enough to NEVER EVER work with Home Depot’s delivery system. I wish I could rate it a -5. The ABSOLUTE WOOOOOOOORST!

I have been a long time customer of Home Depot in purchasing appliances and materials for my properties. However, I no longer have any confidence with the delivery companies they use to deliver and remove old appliances. This is the 3rd time that GE Appliance (redirected via HD) has been just another call center with no access to contact delivery person directly. They are suppose to call 30 mins to arrival with the delivery window of morning or afternoon of scheduled date. I am still after almost a month of them delivering new fridge, dishwasher, & Stove to come back and take away the old stove and dishwasher that they could not take away at time of delivery. When they delivered they were also 2 hours past the delivery window and into the evening. Set up time to come back after that the next week and being at the end of the que for pick up the delivery operators did not call to cancel after waiting 6 hours. When I called to check in with Home Depot / GE Appliance Call center they assured me I was still on the route for pick up and they were running behind but no matter what would be coming. I called 2 other times to confirm this throughout the day. No call recieved and only to find out later that evening after calling again that they were not in fact coming. Rescheduled for this past weekend (10 days was the soonest available) and because a Sunday scheduled delivery there was no Call Center to pick up on delivery status... recieved no calls on when coming and only found out of the delivery window after contacting a few days before to confirm. Communication is horrible enough, not to mention it is now the 4th and final try that I am hoping they will show up in another 10 days to take away my tenants old stove and dishwasher. I recommend anyone buying appliances from Home Depot to not use their delivery services in the future or you will most likely be very frustrated and disappointed. Especially because you can only call Home Depot and all they do is email the delivery company for scheduling there is no supervisors anyone they can connect you with whether at Home Depot, Ge Appliance Delivery Center or any other delivery company used by Home Depot. Not the way to do business.

ANYONE ANYWHERE will do a better job than the "outsourced" group for Home Depot. I order a dishwasher - which if anyone has ever installed one - so simple. Just connect the drain to the Garbage Disposal, connect the water source to the Water In and plug in the electrical plug. These guys somehow loosened the P-trap under the opposite side of the sink and left a leak - they scratched up numerous cabinets loading the OLD dishwasher up on their dolly and even worse they didn't install the kick plate on the new dishwasher - they just hauled it off to trash. Totally incompetent and could not have cared less about the installation for which they were paid $129 to connect three connections and $25 to haul off the old appliance. Don't even THINK about buying appliances from Home Depot - the insanity I've already gone through trying to make a claim is ridiculous - each time I call they indicate they have no record of previous calls even though I have names, times and full transcripts of the discussion(s).

First attempt at delivery - June 2021. Delivery guys unboxed the gas range on our front lawn and brought the gas range into our kitchen. Then indicated the refrigerator had to be moved. Apparently they were not allowed to lift the range up and over our countertop. They left with all the packing materials strewn across our front lawn. Our township does not take huge boxes so we kept it thinking we would be contacted about a retry. After several days I contacted Home Depot to learn that the delivery and setup was contracted to a 3rd party and that I would need to reschedule which I did. I got a call the day before indicating they need to reschedule which I did. The day of delivery came and nothing happened. I called the delivery company and they told me they don't have the stove to deliver and that I would need to get a refund and repurchase. Called Home Depot got a refund. Delivery day today 2 months later. Took maybe 5 minutes to install as I had moved the refrigerator. But still left with a big box I can't get rid of. Also the Home Depot delivery folks threw part of my old range in the box along with an anti-tip fixture they were required to install by law but did not install. I questioned if the range was level as it rocked also. They said it was fine (it's not). So I will need to relevel. The icing on the s*** cake is they left no manual for the range which I just printed out. These guys SUCK and I would recommend ordering from anyone but Home Depot.

I didn’t mind that they came at the last minute. I didn’t mind that neither used English as their first language. But they were extremely ignorant too. When I had prepared everything so it would be incredibly easy for them. As soon as they came upstairs. They immediately complained. Saying that they wouldn’t be able to do this install. Why? What an awful experience! I bought a four appliance package having taken exact measurements before ordering. Delivery date was four weeks out which was just fine. Delivery/install day arrives, two delivery men don't speak English and the frig goes in, no problem. They pull out the stove to look saying the gas hook up isn't correct for the new stove and it will need to be replaced and could not install. They went back to the truck for the dishwasher, came back saying it was dented and need to be replaced by HD. They then measured the space above the stove where the microwave was to go and said it was the wrong size as it came to three and a half inches below the back splash. This also was returned to HD. A week later the dishwasher was rescheduled for delivery/install. Again two delivery men who spoke very little English. There seemed to be a problem with install as it took over an hour. As he completed the job he turned the washer on , looked under the sink , no leak and left. Ten minutes later an alarm chimed and the washer shut off. Looking at the manual it was signalling "draining problem". I had to pay a plumber who said the "knock out" from the washer to the disposal was still in tact thus yes there was a drain problem. I have ordered many appliances in my life but usually from family owned appliance stores where they know how customer satisfaction is important, not so with Home Depot

In October of 2020 Home Depot, Denver, CO, installed a stackable washer and dryer in an investment property. The Home Depot installation was done so poorly I'm continuing to address problems they caused. They did not anchor the W/D unit which led to the motor burning out and the gas line cinching tightly so as to need a plumber to come and cut it and replace the valve. This was done at my expense. Never again will I use Home Depot installation for anything except, maybe, to install large megaphone in my house so I can yell at them.

My husband and I ordered a dryer from Home Depot three weeks ago.. not only is it super annoying that Home Depot gives you a 9 hour time frame of when an item will be delivered but the two boys that delivered it were so BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. They arrive and I take them to my side door which leads directly to my basement. I asked if it would fit through the doors and if not they were more than welcome to use my front door. The first guy tells me that it would fit. He goes into my basement and informs me that my old dryer needs to me unhooked which I was NEVER told. I quickly ask my father in law who lives next door to me if he could unhook it. As he is doing that the two guys are telling me that it would not fit through either of the doors and they could not bring in the dryer or take the old dryer as agreed upon at purchase. I’d like to note that they also told me they did not have time to wait for doors to be removed as they had 20 other stops. They had only been at my house for a matter of 10-15 minutes. I don’t not care how many other stops you have I paid for your time for you to do your job. My father in law over hears them and ask what the problem is. He kindly ask if he could us the measuring tape to measure it himself they rudely tell him “get your own” so he does and measures it and they sure enough have an extra two inches to fit through all of the doors. My father in law says “if I remove the doors will you bring it in” they agree. As he is removing the door they get in their truck and leave. They left my new dryer sitting there outside. My father in law unhooked the old dryer and brought in the new one to the basement by himself. They did not tell me they were leaving. They did not give me any paper work or anything! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Although our dishwasher is literally right next to the sink, because there is a false cabinet or "void" between them, Home Depot installers will not put this in because they cant see in there to tell if there is a leak. The customer service people are nice - they just have zero information required to do their jobs. They try to please but it isn't possible because the system is such a failure. Details: Incorrect parts delivered first try, second try scheduled immediately, never verified despite 7 calls over 7 days. Still haven't received washer/dryer. Unfathomable given the price of the item and my persistence in trying to schedule delivery. I even went out and bought the undeliverable part myself. My husband are remodeling our kitchen using Home Depot Installation services and since they were doing that, we decided to purchase the appliances through Home Depot as well. The delivery was scheduled nearly two months out, which we had no problem with, the problem was with the TWO missed delivery appointments with no notice that my appliances would not be delivered on the scheduled dates. I had to call to ask where my appliances were and received one excuse of my appliances were delivered to the service late, hence the new delivery date and on the next scheduled date - TODAY- I had to call and was still told that my appliances were on the truck for delivery. "My new washer dryer combo was to be delivered on the day I selected but the installer would not do it when they saw the corroded condition of the H/C faucets. Both were corroded open. They guys checked the site before unloading their truck which was smart. I rescheduled fo0r 2 weeks later after I replaced those old faucets. The new delivery went great. No damage and they ran both units before departing. Old units hauled away by the same 2 man crew who have been in this business for 15 years. They know what they are doing."
